What we have here, much as with Prohibition, are good intentions doing no discernible good. Instead, Prohibition did lots of harm — the outcome again and again of government interventions.
Obviously, the long-term goal of those who created the existing background check system is to open the door to a system of universal gun-owner registration.
So far Ritter’s bad energy policy has remained largely within the Centennial State, and, for now, that’s where it will stay.
