Free government cell phones available in Denver

These pictures come from the intersection of Lincoln and Colfax, literally “in the shadow” of the state capitol if the sun was out.  Are these the much-discussed “ObamaPhones?”  Don’t know.

I did stand in line for about 5 minutes to see what I would need to qualify, but the line wasn’t moving.

But just as a reminder, there is no such thing as a free lunch…or a free cell phone.

Coming soon to a busy intersection near you, free government cell phones.  (That certainly makes NSA data gathering a lot easier, eh?)

Fact is that there’s an entire staff working every day to bring you the most timely and relevant political news (updated twice daily) aggregated from around the state, as well as top-notch original reporting and commentary.

PLEASE SUPPORT LOCAL JOURNALISM AND LADLE A LITTLE GRAY ON THE CREW AT COMPLETE COLORADO. You’ll be giving to the Independence Institute, the not-for-profit publisher of Complete Colorado, which makes your donation tax deductible. But rest assured that your giving will go specifically to the Complete Colorado news operation. Thanks for being a Complete Colorado reader, keep coming back.
