Scott Sessions Murder

Hearing in Greeley double-murder case reveals new details in death of Scott Sessions; continued to Oct. 26

Sessions and Frank met at a jazz festival on Jan. 22 and began talking via Facebook Instant Messaging. Messages between the two on Feb. 8 showed that Frank invited Sessions to her home near the intersection of 35th Avenue and 20th Street for the evening. It is likely Sessions was killed in Frank’s home and then his body transported by Frank and Eastman to the location where it was found burned.

“I know the wheels of justice turn slow, but this is starting to be a burden on the family. We will accept Oct. 15 as we have no choice in it, but I would urge the court to judiciously proceed as this open-ending is a burden on all of the victims.” Stan Sessions, father of one of Eastman’s victims.

“There are numerous commercial and law enforcement surveillance videos that take hours and hours to download. We do that over the course of nights and weekends trying to speed up the process. … It’s not as easy as it appears at the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office one day and then we should be able to discover it the next day, it just simply doesn’t work that way.” Weld County Chief Deputy District Attorney Steve Wrenn about the time it takes to comply with discovery rules.
