Ed tax proponents will aim for two-tiered increase in state income tax

Proponents (of the tax) are certainly giving themselves minimum time. To make this fall’s ballot they must turn in a minimum of valid 86,105 signatures by 3 p.m. Aug. 5, less than two months away.
